 We provide mental health services to people of all ages, addressing a wide range of issues. NPPA is extremely proud of the years of experience, community respect, and level of excellence each clinician brings to the practice. All clinicians are licensed at the highest level in South Dakota in their respective fields.

Our Services

Individual, Family, and Couples Therapy


Clinicians at Northern Plains Psychological Associates, LLC (NPPA) provide mental health services and counseling for individuals of all ages, families, and couples. Counseling gives people the opportunity to address a wide range of  issues. A mental health professional will discuss various treatment options and will develop a plan to not only help you resolve the immediate issues, but also to help you develop skills to cope with the same or additional concerns you may face in the future.

Psychological Evaluations and Assessments


Dr. Holly Reich and Dr. Stephanie Sorensen provide psychological evaluations for a wide range of problems and concerns. They evaluate children, adolescents, and adults for learning disabilities, ADHD, emotional and behavioral difficulties, and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Assessments are conducted for individuals, schools, vocational rehabilitation services, and other agencies. Dr. Reich and Dr. Sorensen also do psychological evaluations for bariatric surgery and Dr. Franne Sippel conducts disability evaluations.

Mediation for Business, Custody, and Divorce


Dr. Franne Sippel offers mediation for business, custody, and divorce issues. The purpose of mediation is to help individuals resolve their conflicts fairly and amicably. Mediation is voluntary, cost effective, and serves to preserve the relationship between the parties.
